Delete your account

You can permanently delete your good frens account and all associated data at any time. This page exists to satisfy app store requirements and to make the process clear.

What gets deleted

• Your owner profile (name, bio, photo, preferences, phone number).
• All dog profiles you've created (photos, bios, vibe, vaccination records).
• Plan requests, chat messages, and notification preferences.
• Block lists and any reports you've filed (anonymized records may be retained for safety review).

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Data is purged within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

How to delete from the app

1. Sign in to good frens.
2. Open Settings.
3. Choose "Delete account" at the bottom.
4. Confirm "Delete account." After deletion succeeds, you'll be signed out. If deletion fails, you'll stay signed in and can try again.

How to delete by email

If you can't sign in, email support@goodfrens.app from the address tied to your account with the subject "Delete my account." We'll confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.
